Rumor has it that Ryno’s Amarok was not able to complete Ongeluksnek Pass due to the gearbox overheating.

Yip. In Ryno’s defense he says he forgot to lock it in gear so the gearbox must have been hunting the whole time. He let it cool down and completed the pass.

I think Ryno accidentally switched his seat warmers on and thought the gearbox was getting hot...

Kurt this is correct, some Porra's just like to stir. He was very quit on the trip and had to go to every group his on and social media to make his voice heard

So, by the lack of photos and reports I can assume that the trip wasn’t that great. Pity

If that was Manny being quiet, I'd not like to be around when he's noisy. :P

He paid the price when it came to straffdoppe though. Unfortunately we found out that the more he drinks the more he talks.

Kurt,
Believe me all that went said it lived up to all the expectations. Manny will do the official report. just to make sure its unbiased.
My personal favourite remains Ben Macdui, yet Bastervoedpad was a must do, Ongeluksnek was not easy, but disappointed me, expected more. and lastly I completed Sani Pass in 4x2 mode, took all the experience I obtained over the years.

in conclusion, nature made it much more challenging than before.

I did five additional Passes, Bastervoetpad, Tennahead, Pitseng, Ongeluksnek and Sani, now completed my 50 list. We travelled right around Lesotho, a total distance of 2194km. Interesting only time travelled on a Highway was from Koppies to Kroonstad.

Manny asked us to share some more club photos. This was a superb tour with a great group of people, and we all kept the clubs name up high.

...and now, anyone who manages to get to the top of Ongeluk's Nek will know "We were there!"...
