Hi guys. A point of clarity. The venue refuses to refund the club our 50% deposit, they say they have already paid it over to their staff to support them during this coronavirus bullshit.

They are only willing to give us a 100% credit that is valid for 3 years.

We will therefore have this event at another time and the reason for the full refund of deposits to members is so that when the new dates are selected we don’t have to deal with partial refunds, transfers etc. if the same okes can’t attend.

It’s just cleaner this way and the club will rather take the brunt of the lost interest (which is negligible) and let members not have the burden of not having the money refunded.

I trust this is clear?

Tx Kurt. 100% clear!

Still keen on doing the trip!

Lets look at dates for later the year, or this time next year.

That to all involved in getting the refund to the members. At the time it's really needed.

Looking at next year's calendar it seems the Easter Weekend will be the best option. Details to follow in due course but keep it in mind in your planning.
