Ok got it
Northern KZN and KZN parks - there is a lot of duplication in the parks as most of them are Northern KZN and if you tried doing all the parks it would be a long trip.

Would just say Northern KZN

Mike, if your screen has colour you'll see I marked them all in green with *** Northern KZN.
They will be lumped together in the poll...

I submit cut these 3:

* River Trip X - not same old busy river
* Transkei Trip - better trips in list
* Namib Dunes - better trips in list

I highly recommend :

Ivory Trail/Wolkberg
pref 1 week plus ...

Trips to Cape, Namibia, Bots & Moz
imo would need +/- 10days ... and much fuel ...
but I’m probly interested...

If I may suggest.. Without being called brain dead by someone who cannot communicate his requirements properly

I Suggest that all the trips that require a week or more and will require crossing borders to be removed as this will be a separate planning for next year. Taking previous years into account most of us wont have enough time to fit in two for the year in any case.

Agree with Hunter - time is going to be key for me and I’m sure a lot of others.

The longer trips I'm sure will be challenging and time of year especially.
We also need to take into consideration cost on the longer trips .
Fuel price alone is a worthy of an overdraft.
He suggests a venue 660km from his house & another over 1000km from his house.
Then says time & distance are going to be an issue... :D

This is what I have to deal with people!

Ok let me try break it down further and better articulate myself.

To be able to effectively eliminate or vote for the various suggestions - the more pertinent information we have, the more effectively we can make decisions without all the unnecessary back and forth and alleviate perceptions created by some of us.

So simply, to make an informed decision, the following would be very useful:

1. A brief description on the destination. If someone just says it’s an old ox trail - it means very little to me and generally would not be interested unless I better understood the “why” behind the suggestion

2. Length of time - some of us have work and family commitments and need the required permissions from our respective bosses - this also played heavily into the budget consideration

3. Time of the event - it’s difficult for me to get away at certain times of the year again due to family and work commitments - if an indication when the various events would be planned it would make it much easier to commit to the events we choose and don’t end up with a no show situation - which we seem to be struggling with at the moment

So in summary the more information we have the better we can plan and commit to these events and prevent all the noise And confusion that is generally created.

Oh and by the way you just quoted which I thought was another no no - you’ll have to delete your own posts
