I have a dilemma about this:

Do I come with caravan, packed as for a week or two, or:

Do I come with vehicle only packed for a the same time but as if traveling faster...

Andrew, while you have the opportunity bring your whole rig including caravan. It gives a very good idea for future reference.

Just a reminder :
We meet at: Liebherr Africa , 20 Vlakfontein Str , Fulcrum , Springs. Gate 3.

Time 08h00 for registration , till complete, afterwards we will meet in a designated area outside the security area for a wors roll and beer.

Rules :
1) Its a formal 4x4 Action Group event, all members will respect the opportunity given to us by Liebherr Africa, we will respectfully enter and drive on the site at 20km/h.
2) Enter directional in between the designated safety cones, line up in the registration sequence.
3) Once we have registered and weighed, move offsite exiting @ Gate 3.
4) Your vehicle and license will be scanned for validity, and needs to be roadworthy.

On long trips >1mth like CKGR and
Gonarezhou I carry >72 beers, wine,
whisky & Gin ...
but weighbridge wont see
such valuable cargo ...

OK, the weighbridge is ready - lightening damage repaired.

On the day we have a few options:
1) weigh front axle,
2) weigh the rear axle,
Add the two to get combined weight,
3) weigh trailer hitched,
4) weigh trailer unhitched,
5).test the weight on the ball, indicate balance of the trailer.

Once everybody is finished, the braai will be ready, we will braai us some Kudu wors and rolls with, some chilli sauce.

Bring your chair and a beer or two.
Come enjoy the day.
