Thank you for the invite Kurt.
Everyone did very well, there were some intimidating obstacles for the inexperienced guys, but they showed resolve and conquered

Very enjoyable event.
The 4x4 Action Group had great fun!
The 4WDCSA did a good job & base4 is a nice venue.
About 45 vehicles entered, in previous years 4WDCSA had over 100 entrants at their Jamboree.
I think the decline can be attributed to 3 things:
* The decline in 4x4'ing activity.
* The rise of FB '4x4' clubs which add nothing to the pastime.
* 4WDCSA not marketing it as well as they should have, under the circumstances.
We, the Great & Glorious 4x4AG entered 12 vehicles, but on the day only had 8 pitch:
1. Mad Manny - Our Great & Glorious Leader with Tammy Navi.
2. Kurt C Gerber with Flipside as Navi
3. MartinDJ with no Navi
4. Michael Craig (Axego) with his entire family as Navi
5. Shaun Nobody (Outlaw Shaun) with his son Zane being cheek...er Navigating
6. Charl Ferreira with no Navi
7. Rabbiddog with Sue-Anne Navigating.
8. Big Bazza with his 'Special Friend' Navigating.
8 vehicles and 11 members...

There were 9 obstacles worth 100 each & then 15 Quiz questions which counted at the 10th obstacle.
I assume each question counted about 6 or 7. points, giving you potentially about 1000 points. I think.
I think scrutineering also counted, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, KurtG & Flipside came 1st overall.
The 4x4Action Group came first as a Club.
There were 38 vehicles on the day 35 drove in clubs and 3 drove as private entries.
Only 4x4AG, Halfway Toyota, 4WDCSA & 4x4MegaWorld entered as clubs.
Rather disappointing that clubs like Hilux, Land Cruiser, Jeep, 4x4ATV etc never entered.
Needless to say, no FB club like GP 4x4 & Difflock or Toyotaholics etc entered.

The Club prize we won is a Securtec Goody bag which contains a seed net, tow strap, nice gloves, a pair of crap shackles, bungee cords, ratchet straps etc.
We will remove the shackles & replace them with rated shackles.
This gift will be given to a unique & special member at the AGM...
