... talking to some Land Rover club guys yesterday they are involved
in re-establishing and extending an old track that winds through Marakele
as a more formal 4*4 route - though it evidently seems it will not be
‘complete or open’ as such by end Sept ...
(There was an ‘Eco Trail’ in the area that was opened there in 2013)
It would presumably include the conical spiralling ascent of the main hill
that is currently open to the public.
Will try and get more info about it in due course.
