Gauteng Event: De Wildt Off-road Day

#1

Post by KurtG »

What: An easy off-road trail for all makes of 4x4's, even stock standard vehicles.

Where: De Wildt off-road trail near Brits/Harties. https://www.dewildt4x4.co.za

When: Saturday 21 July 2018 @ 08h00 for 08h30.

Who: Anyone is welcome

What to bring: a bag of wood, some meat and sides, camping chairs and braaing equipment. There are braai's there. Snacks for the trail are a good idea as we will probably finish around 13h00 and braai back at the entrance. There is a cash bar, so you can support the establishment if you wish.

Entry Fee: R300 per vehicle plus two persons, R80 per additional person. I am busy negotiating with them to give us a special rate, the more interest we have, the more we can negotiate so get your ass in gear and let's get out there!

EDIT: This will count as a Credit for things like RT etc next year.
If you haven't been to De Wildt before - it will count towards UTM Cinquenta (50 trails) Desafios

EDIT: they have agreed to R280 per vehicle, regardless of number of passengers.

Payments: You pay the venue on arrival, no payments to the Action Group account. If you do, we appreciate the donation Image

Group size: MAXIMUM OF 20 VEHICLES, PLEASE DON’T INVITE ANYONE ELSE!!

Guys, due to the number of attendees we will need to split into at least 3 groups to make the day go smoother.

We will decide on the day what the groups will be but we must have a mixture of noobs and experienced guys in each group.

More info to follow....

I'm very interested. Shake down before the River Trip.

The price has been reduced to R280 per vehicle, no limit on passengers. I have edited the first post.
