I was going to mention that only solid axle vehicles will be allowed because independent suspension vehicles are actually soft roaders. Then I thought by myself I am going to get bliksemed at the dunes by some soft roader guy. So I am not going to post that!

Bartho does dunes in an X3 - so clearly SFA is not required...

X3 won’t survive AD. It’s not the Northern Cape

For normal driving around it will be fine. I've been to AD with Subaru Forester in the group and it coped fine.

Atlantis Dunes is one of only few left in SA that I have not done. Need to go down there one day.
You will never find me without Stroh or a 4x4 :D

I’ve driven a FWD deep into the dunes. But that doesn’t make it a good idea Image.

A Forester or X3 isn’t going to be capable of coping at this meeting

Neil must take me around the east way then. Hope the 200 Cruiser will cope?

A person wonders if the sand will still be wet after all the rain that is falling right now on the dunes? I guess the wet sand will make it a lot easier for newbies like Mike and Chris.
