10:30 and we already had to recover Renier and Rechard out the mud.
Then Joos broke a sideshaft going up a steep difficult hill, Martin did it but his Jimny overheated...

What a great day 4x4ing. Bad day for tyres. Lost 2 on the D4. Plugged the 2nd one to get down from the mountain. Borrowed a spare from another D4 (back at the lodge) to get back home

Those Pirellis are SOFTER than Manny’s midsection.

Well today was not my best, it was hot as it is, from the onset my Jimny's electric fan did not want to kick in, it meant for survival.
I to throw water over the radiator to cool it down. That meant I had to drive with my cars heater on full blast, causing me to overheat.
But it did not stop the old toppies from playing, as Manny stated, Rechard and Renier got stuck in the mud, a Jimny saved the day, SAXJ showing real power.
Joos broke a side shaft, then my small Jimny showed the big boys how its done, Manny struggled, Rechard had two attempts, SueAnne showed the boys how its done.
It was a seriously hot ! I turned home at half time, heater on till I got home.
