Time to K&K Off...

Kamp & Kuier Camp Off

Background:
MartinDJ bought an Invader Duo & I'm dying to see it.
I am also dying to camp.
So I started thinking about a camping weekend.

Then, I was reading the Patrol 4x4 Forum.
If you don't follow it - it's about how to get more power out of your Diesel Patrol.
Then how to solve the resultant overheating issues.
Great Forum.

Iandvl (he & I dislike one another) made a great Post/Thread about a new venue he stumbled across.
Now, while Ian & I are not friends, I followed his advice/plea regarding NOT buying Sekelbos in Harties.
So I thunk 'Why not follow his recommendation on the Thread?".

So I decided to try set up a weekend combining my desire to:
* Camp with my desire to
* Check out Martin's new Invader Duo &
* Check out this new venue.

Only problem is: Martin can't make the weekend - but I decided not to yet failed purpose stop me...

So...

The bad news is :

about about 3 weeks ago I took my canvas Canopy
off my 130 and ... ‘with a little help from my friends’ !
lifted my old Steel Canopy back on, to prevent Urban Osmosis
( ie ongoing theft) of my kit to the outside world , here in The Rainbow Natiom.
A few days later I happened to notice that I was largely/wholly immobile,
Slipped or Herniated Disk , Sciatica Revolt etc limiting my noble ambitions etc

The Good News is :
Some years ago I bought an Ambulance Stretcher that could facilitate myself,
or Private Ryan etc , to change locations ...

With the perspective of old Age, I can only conclude:
The bad news will definitely prevail ...
The good news is of very little relevance ... !

At this stage I can only surmise :
I should not make commitments
that my (experienced) body can , no longer, hope to meet ...
This includes outings in the next few months or so ... at least.
