Hi Martin,

Thanks for the gifts. I spoke to Sionsbergh and they charge R100 for day visitors…. They will however allow a few day visitors for our club free of charge.

Will the trail really take that long?

I've never done the Heidelberg Trail, but I did navigate for Eurard when he did a Bridgestone Event there.
I've wanted to do that trail for years, but I always pushed it down the list as it is apparently very short.
Sakkie told me 1hr 45 mins tops.
So I reckon it'll take a group 3hrs.
Including stuffing around & faffing.
We'll be back by lunch time.

Ok guys and girls, as requested by AVON, anybody interested to do a little bit of 4x4 on the weekend. We are a 4x4 club after all. I have arranged with 4x4 Heidelberg that we can go and drive the route. It would driving about 10km back to Heildelberg and then out on the Vaaldam road est 20km from to and same distance back. The venue is available. We can leave at 08h00 and be back in before 16h00. Cost R200.00 per vehicle, each passanger costs an additional R40.00.
Just keep a close eye out for motorcycles and quads.

If I looked at the correct place it looks like it is an enduro track for quads and bikes as well, so hopefully not to much trouble awaits.

Wont mind a short track. There needs to be enough down time.

Sadly Martin De Jager's mother passed away this morning.
Our thoughts are with Martin, Ester & family.

Obviously Martin will not be attending this event.

I have asked Flip to take over the running of the 4x4 outing to Heidelberg 4x4.

Heidelberg 4x4 are notified that some of us are there on Sat morning.

As a reminder of their fees, R200 per vehicle with driver and R40 per passenger.
I would suggest you have cash.
