...it was disappointing to see that by 12pm on Sunday the camp was empty except for me, Ninja and Avon.
I suggest we do something like a group brunch in the future to stop the mass early exodus.
Fair comment.

I left early as I had a client sending dozens of 'Scope Creep' texts & another saying a roof I quoted on had leaked & flooded a house (turns out he'd never approved my quote).
So I rushed home to sort out work issues.

Also, I wasn't keen on packing up in the heat of the day.

Also, I was worried Sueanne would ask me to explain where half her Gin & all her Tonic went.

Also, I wanted to avoid the person who had the mutters about their strafdop.

But it is definitely a good point & if anyone is running this club next year I'll try my best to suggest it.

Good points Francois and I agree. Often one forgets that the Sunday is still a day to enjoy at the camp site and not a rush to get home before 10…

Hahahah sometimes we want to get home to sleep. Between the Vrystaaters and Wessel being up all night and Bugger being up early morning there is no sleep on a camping trip

I'm sorry we couldn't attend - looks like we missed out!

Kids + exams...

Anyhow, good to hear that there were Free Staters to keep our name high!

Certainly looks like you guys had a blast!

Well done to the organizers

Yes, it needs to be as late in November as possible...
But this year it had to be moved forward.
