TWO PETERS AND JACO JEEP MEMORIAL TRIP 29, 30 & 31 October 2021

Introduction: The Club recently lost THREE members in 2021: Peter Loveland (Rabbiddog) and shortly thereafter Peter Street (Tgwinduna), and just last week Jaco Coetzee (Jaco Jeep).

Due to Covid restrictions we were not afforded the opportunity to bid these two Land Rover Loyalists, and long time members an appropriate farewell. Jaco will now be honoured on the same weekend as well.

Please join us as we do so now.

What: A trip in and around the Vredefort Dome area.

When: 30 and 31 October 2021

Where: Vredefort Dome

The Plan:
Friday 30 October we check in at Umfula Resort Campsite about 10 km north of Parys in the North West Province.
Kuier over a braai Friday night.

Saturday at 10h00 we leave on the trip.
At roughly 13h00 we stop for lunch at a dorpie with 3 houses, a post office and a lovely restaurant.

After lunch we head back in the direction of the campsite.

On the way back those who are still wanting to kuier can stop off at a craft brewery. The campsite is 10 minutes from there.

Saturday night braai and kuier.

Sunday leave when you want. As Parys is so close, you can spend some time in this quaint little town.

There are chalets available for those who prefer this. Please arrange this direct with the resort.

Those wishing to join for the day only are welcome to do so. Details will follow closer to the time.

Only 15 campsites will be available.

The costs:
The sites are R400 per stand for Saturday night.
The club will pay for your camping on Friday night.
BUT: You must stay both nights in order to qualify.

Restaurant and brewery is for your own account.

Day visitors can join us in the camping grounds for breakfast/coffee/braai will pay R50 pp entry fee.
Or... just wait for us outside & save R50...

What you CANNOT Do is Camp Friday & not Saturday. Well, you can, but you will still have to pay for Saturdays Camping)...
