Looks like daytime temps will be nice and warm but the evenings will still be chilly.

Be prepared!

Antifreeze could be used to lessen the need for woolley underwear.

Remember to go up Ysterberg to the Telkom and SABC towers. The view from there is phenominal.

For us East Rand folks will it be better to route up the N1 to Warmbaths then off to Marakele instead of going anywhere near the Harties area.
Towing anywhere around Harties is not fun anytime of the day so I'd like to miss that area if possible.
My question is about the state of the road between Warmbaths and Marakele if anyone has traveled that route recently.

Howzit Oom Paul,
As far as I know and have heard via the grape-fine, that road from Warmbaths and Marakele is in good condition
Hope it's true

Harties?
I'm assuming that, since you are not into drugs & are of sober habits, the only reason for the question is your gut obscured part of the map?
Unless you've decided to get lost again, but want to plan it this time? Image :D :)

I guess, to catch the Rugby, we'll need to head into Thabazimbi?
