What: Ladies Day

Why: Because we can.

When: 9H00
27th February 2021

Where: De Wildt 4x4

Cost: R 300-00 per vehicle for two people.
Thereafter R 80-00 per person. Kids under six are free.
Banking Details
Nedbank Fourways
4x4 Action Group
Account Number 1051513812
Branch Code 168-405

What do I have to do: Calculate your cost.
Eg One vehicle with a driver, passenger and one other over six years old would be R 380-00.
Pay the required amount into the 4x4 AG account with reference your forum name and LD. Eg. AndreasRLD.

What will be happening on the day: Original plans have changed somewhat due to Covid, however we can still have a fun day in a safe manner in the outdoors.
We will assemble at 9H00.
The ladies will attend a short theoretical chat about 4x4 driving and why they need to know acquire 4x4 driving skills.

There will also be a question and answer session.

Thereafter we will do the practical,
Depending on the group size we may split into 2, or more groups.

The ladies will drive both the Training Route at the venue & do the section of the Trail
This Training Route can be done numerous times if desired to build up confidence.

You will not be pressured, everything will be safe & you will be expertly guided.

You may have your partner sitting next to you, or have a guide accompany you if you prefer.

Once the Ladies are done we will ALL meet up together and have a braai at a Lapa.

All Ladies who complete the Course & the Trail will be given an attendance certificate.

What must I bring: Most importantly, your partner. Or they can attend on their own.
Your braai stuff plus chairs.
Refreshments to stay hydrated.

This will be a great day.
The ladies get to drive.
They will have fun.
They will learn a lot.
In an emergency, they can get you & your family to safety.
And the bug may bite & they'll be wanting their own 4x4...

Might not make it, need to keep car in running condition for Kgalagai trip 2 weeks after this outing. Can't afford more damage at this stage

It's de Wildt! There is not much there to damage the vehicle, and the bits that can do damage are easily avoided.

*yawn* I have never folded to peer pressure...

There are several reasons why this KTP trip is important, and I had to postpone it once before due to Covid, cannot postpone it again as unfortunately time is running out.

If you go to the Richtersveld first I think there's a shortcut to Kalagadi via 'The Road to Heaven...' ?

What a pathetically poor response so far.
4x4 Action Group Saudi Arabia would get a better turn out that this.
Are there so many of you with wives incapable of driving a vehicle?
