There are two routes though Middelburg. My GPS shows a preference of a slightly longer route which I simply dislike.

The below route is actually shorter with less traffic lights and is quicker:

Take the first offramp after the Ultra City and turn left.
Travel north until a T junction.
Turn right and follow this road all the way into the town center area.
Once you spot the Wimpy on the left and a big white NG Kerk on the right turn right at the next traffic light.
Travel along this road (3 or 4 traffic lights) until you get to a traffic light where there is a used car dealership on the right corner. You should pick up the R555 Stoffberg sign. Turn left and head out of town.

This route actually cuts diagonally across town and is shorter too whereas the other stays longer on the highway and then runs perpendicular to the highway though town.

Your choice.

I’m seeing a lot of anal over-analysis going on from the older folk of this forum...

Yes, if they aren't stressing out about a R57.00 pensioner discount, they are worried about two extra sets of traffic lights, in a small town, on a public holiday....

Renier, I won't as I'm not sure when we'll get away & I have to stop in Pretoria to fetch Tammy, but others are welcome to.

I suggest we all switch to ORRA Channel 3 on Thursday morning.

I see on the venue website that check-in time is 13h00. We were hoping to get there earlier. What are everyone else's ETA's on Thursday?

Basically what I was planning on doing. It does take me a while to position the caravan and extend the awning. I need lots of daylight.....

I have invited a co-pilot along. I am camping, can I pay the normal Ribbok kloof camping rates for her?
Do I contact them directly?

Is this someone other than Anita Kroon?

Anita did call me a few weeks ago about additional persons & I told her to pay urgently as I was about to pay the venue.
But afaik, no payment was made.
