Good Day Gents,

I have updated the attendance list and the payments that have reflected on the clubs bank statement.

I will update the list again on Friday/Saturday with the latest details. Please note that our 50% deposit needs to be paid on the 1st of September to secure our booking.

Just looking at the attendance list... It appears to be largely a list of the usual attendees at events and functions. I wonder why it is that there isn't a broader buy in. It's a shame really...

It is just like any club or organization. There is a core of guys that do the work and a core of guys that participate. That’s life. I think the participation rate of the AG members is quite good.

Following the whatsapp, may be the venue that's the problem.

I bought a 4x4 so I don't have to walk or cycle and can't do much of either for medical reasons.

So I would be forced to hire a golf cart and at R125/hour would make the weekend pretty expensive.

And please don't take this as criticism of the organisers or venue.

Just the sort of place I personally least enjoy.

One day I'm going to strip my pluk & purge the deadwood.
But Kurt & Crips always calm me down by whispering "Remember the membership fees" softly in my ear.

I even had a plan to make the membership fee R1000 p.a less R200.00 for each event attended over the past 12 months.
But, again, the cool heads of Kurt & Crips prevailed...
