For those YEF'ERS that still have access to the forum - please convey my apologies to the rest for not pitching.
We woke up to electrical woes in the house.
Waiting for a Sparky to sort it out. He'll only be here at 11 so we won't make it in time (5hr drive).
I have made a payment towards the braaipacks that were ordered for us.
Manny could you just confirm what the actual costs were and I'll make up the shortfall.
Sorry once again. These things happen.
Hope you have a great time though!

That’s a real pity Shane but we understand. Don’t make any payments until next week, we will check it out first and then advise but I doubt we will charge you. Hope you get everything sorted

Well done Emile, you did well. Hopefully you can arrange all the events in future because you are so good at it.
Thanks to the club for sponsoring so much towards the event!

Thanks for the weekend guys.
As some of the guys know we had a bit of a hiccup on the way home. The gearbox on the Disco gave up on us just before joining the N1 from the N4. As we pulled away from the toll gate it lost forward drive. The strange bit is that reverse gear still operates. Thanks to Martin and François for stopping and offering assistance. We got loaded on the back of a flatbed organised by Discovery Insurance. We had to pay R800 extra which isn't bad. The truck had tow hitch and hooked up the caravan. We got home a bit late but in one piece.

Sorry to hear Paul - hope it all gets sorted.
Just for the record - a Disco by Land Rover broke down after the YEF...
