I guess, to catch the Rugby, we'll need to head into Thabazimbi?
Why would you want to spoil time in the bush to watch some fool's run around after a ball? 🤔

Didn't you spend years photographing guys driving around and around on a track?

We're digressing from what this thread is about so we can continue this discussion over a beer in the bush.

Just remember this is a SANPARKS Game Reserve. The gates close at 17h30.

So you are in or you are out.

Not sure I want to see lions while I'm sitting at my fire having a braai - but to each his own...

Agree. You will end up shitting while sitting which will be unpleasant for those around you

OK, it finally are time for this trip.

A big Thank You to the Lone Arranger, Andreas, for putting this trip together.

Remember, you have to pay the Conservation fee of around R60.00pppd at the gate on arrival.

We will use ORRA channel 4, so lock it in as you leave home.

Remember, you need to arrive before 17:00 to get processed before the gates close.

Expect heavy traffic en route as it is the first post-Lockdown long weekend - everyone is going away.

I'll see you all there tomorrow...

Enjoy everyone, I hope setting up camp was quick and easy so that you could enjoy the nature.

Well done Andreas for making this work by petitioning the government to open the Gauteng borders in time.

To those that are already there, savour the peacefulness until the Portuguese half-breed noise arrives tomorrow.
