The aftermath of the salt mud bath Henri subjected his Pajero to on the NKZN Trip.

The wiring harness of his tow bar was corroded and dysfunctional so he is busy fitting a new harness.

The touring toolkit is getting a good workout I see. Hopefully the gremlins can be banished.

Henri, I see you were inside removing panels etc. Doesn’t the harness just plug into the rear tail light cluster and then down to the plug? Pretty simple I would imagine as the light literally just has two small screws holding it in place.

Kurt, when Andreas took the photo I was busy trying to get the back bolt out. The bolt was tightened too much by the Taiwanese Bolt Installer Technician and had virtually disappeared into the plastic.

I gave up, going to run the new supply cable under the carpet to the fuse box under the dash.
