Awesome, so we are all going to kamp in a kraal around the gazebo? It's safer that way anyway

Going to be epic!

I won't be coming through on friday as initially planned. It seems that the school is not willing to plan their exam time tables around my camping plans . I think that they are rather inconsiderate!

So the kids will need to study on friday so that we can get away early on saturday.

Will do the trail on another day

IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLAN YOUR ROUTE ACCORDINGLY

Ladies and Gentleman,

we did the route recently and found that there are numerous "stop and go" roadworks on the R511.
There are 4 stop and go's on that road and you it can extend your trip by at-least 45 min.

Google Map Link : https://goo.gl/maps/g6644m1bKTGz43QY9

The better alternative route is a gravel road, its a bit further but much quicker.
From the N4 heading to Brits(R511).
Turn right onto the R566 (you will see a Sasol Garage at the 4-way stop)
Image
Carry on with the R566 for about 17.7km
Turn left onto Lethabile Rd. Drive for about 20.5 km
Image
Turn left onto Warmbad St.
Image
The road will split after about 8.2km - KEEP LEFT
Image
Stay on the main gravel road.
You will join up with the R511 again.
Turn Right onto the R511
Image
(Stop at Beestekraal Stasie a on your left, support Lynette(the owner) and tell her you are from the 4x4 Action Group)

Turn left at Beestekraal Rd

You'll see Bush and Buck on your right

Enjoy the trip, take it easy. We look forward to having you there!!
