4x4 Action Group

The Plan:

To arrive the Sunday, to do as much of the course as possible, and to climb the rock... "Koos se klim"

The rock being the focus of the trip.
All obstacles have bypasses.

When:
16 September

Where:
Moegatlhe - Co-Ords: -25.396525, 27.718922

Cost:
Camping costs are R110.00 per person, per night, and the route will set you back R300.00

Limits:
12 Vehicles max.

Note:
Please let me know on this thread if you will be joining us

No alcohol will be allowed while we do the route.

This is a wonderful route, with bypasses at every obstacle, but it is not for vehicles without low range, and you must have at least one diff-lock or have T/Control. Unless you have a Jimny


Itinerary:
Meet at flex ramp at 9am. Start route and travel as far as we can until 2pm. Then we go to the the rock and attack it.... Well all of those who want to, after staring at it and feeling your man stuff shrink....

We will have a stop for lunch on the trail at about 12pm.

I do have a lsd at the back. Lockers are for gays....

Most of Moegatle can be done without a locker, Koos se klim on the other hand, should be done with a locker.

Absolutely. Koos se klim is one of those that you have to treat with great respect. With open diffs, you have to get the momentum 100% correct. Even vehicles with lots of flex lift a wheel at the crux.

I know. Have done it before. The last time we did it with a Diesel Xj.

I got Antonie (Jeep Sahara) and JurgenH (Jeep Rubi) to crawl up there, recently

Sounds like a plan, will check with the Missus.

I was thinking of going out this weekend to see how my mud's perform.

I cant do the Klip as my winch stuffs up my approach angle
