Nonetheless we had 20 vehicles
16 Touaregs of various models
1 Q7
A Rubicon
A Landy &
A Fortuner (We needed to make fun of someone)

And
6 Newbies that have never been out 4x4ing with their Vehicles
Everyone was at the gate @ 8am, sorted indemnity, and paid.
There after we drove down to the Donga Lapa so everyone woukd know whete to go for lunch .
Had a quick chat about no Suip and Dryf while we on the trail
And just some other basics of 4x4ing
Alan and Tim - Experienced off roaders, raized their hands to help and we split into 3 Groups 7/7 and 6.
Myself and Flipside with 7 vehicles
Stephan aka Panic Mechanic and Erich 7 Vehicles
Alan and Tim 6 Vehicles
Giving each group Novices with them Splitting the Work load

I'll post a link and hope the other guys post there experience here
Our Novice guys were really getting in to it and did not take the bypass routes but stayed on the Red Route.
Played at the Donna's,Axle twisters
And the nice rough Rocky climb at the back top corner.
Est time on Trail was 3 Hrs without pushing it hard
And Back at the Lapa we made 2 Charcoal fires to braai on and had lunch.
Other groups arrived and same as our group some of the guys had to leave early due to commitments
Had a chat around the Braai Fires about the trail and headed off home
Always nice to hear the feedback from novice guys and the amazement of how capable their vehicles are and stuff they can do with their vehicles they never thought it capable of
Let's hear from the other guys
