As long as we fulfilled out mandate to offer training & development, I'm happy.
At least we have an answer for anyone asking.
On 31 July you can cancel & I'll lock the Thread.

this here is your problem.KurtG wrote:Okay, so if I come (which I can’t) with my wife and two kids I need to pay R1374?
R250 - 1 car
R720 - 4 people
R404 - 4 boerewors rolls and snacks.
Is that right?
It doesn’t matter if it’s cheaper than other courses, the fact that it is more than R8.50 means it’s too expensive for members.

Kurt, go read my message with a ruler. Max 2 people per car .
Yes some people moaned about R100 for snacks and boerewors so let me clarify the R100
- de Wildt charges us R30 pp for snacks (coffee x2 and rusks)
- a boerewors cost price is about R25, most men will have two and a lady 1
- we cannot expect the trainers to buy their own food, they are giving us their knowledge and time free of charge, least we can do is to sponsor their lunch and snacks
- add tomato sauce, chutney and chillies and it adds up to R100.
Someone that moans about the R100 lunch will surely not moan when they write off a R2000 tyre on a trail?
Those that don’t want snacks and lunch will most probably pitch with R150 biltong and a R50 Woolies sarmy while gulping down a Mega size Monster…
