Northern Cape Road Conditions

Heya folks.

I was just wondering if anybody in the know had an idea of road conditions in the Northern Cape - especially Namaqua Coastal Section up to Hondeklipbaai as I believe there was quite a bit of flooding in the area relatively recently. And I've got a trip coming up in a few weeks.

Area I am concerned about is basically:

1 - Nieuwoudtville -> Lutzville
2 - Lutzville -> Groenriviermond (the coastal 4x4 track)
3 - Groenriviermond -> Hondeklipbaai (the SANPARKS coastal track)

I know specifically that Hondeklipbaai was at some point only accessible from a single road during the last month or so.

Edit: Yes - I know I can call San Parks. I will do so if nobody else knows... :)

I have asked a friend down there will report soon. From what I have the Namaqua Park road is drivable. Will make 100% sure about the rest.

We toured the area in November, we only had good roads, we entered in Groenrivier , prepare yourself for thick sand 11 km's from the gate.

The road to Hondeklip was no problem. Hondeklip was disappointment, but still stunning bay.

We exited via the same road to Garies was another disappointment.

Grips - Dankie vir die moeite.

Martin - this will be my third trip to the area. I know what to expect in terms of the tracks generally. I'm just a little more concerned about the floods. As I understood, Hondeklipbaai was cut off for a bit.

Ian got feedback. The road conditions on the bad side but drivable. Don`t think you have to worry with the Patrol.
