I must say:
The rain didn't really bother us - it did make for that one day sitting in the restaurant longer than we would've liked.
The babbling brook past our campsite made for a very calming sound & drowned out any other disturbing sounds.
The rain added to the entertainment; The Civils, the Wildtrak guy, recovering the 4x2 Tuna, the bridge that washed away, a back actor that we saw stuck, the flooded Nambian campsite etc. would have been less fulfilling without it.

Also, that place can get dam hot between Christmas & New Year (like most of the Ou Transvaal), the rain & clouds helped break the heat.
We only felt the heat on one day, mainly the afternoon.
I actually said to the girls our trip would have been less enjoyable were it not for the rain.

I'll camp with Sueanne & Tanya anytime - they camp like bosses.

The question is will they camp with you!

Good that you had a nice break. We were staying not too far from you and while it was bucketing down with rain I got to say I had a quiet chuckle to myself realising you were out there camping. Ok let me be honest. I laughed so much I fell off the couch.
… but Andreas , I got the impression Management
had prepared for you to stay at the Bush Camp ?

Thanks for your report Manny. We've now got another camping venue not too far from home.
Kurt, you seem to be loosing your edge.
You replied without mentioning anything about the grammatical and spelling mistakes in the report 🙄.

I've never thought or claimed to be perfect or to be able to spell very well. I'm also "dikvel" enough to not really give a hoot.
But nice report anyway Manny.

Looks like a lekker trip. Pity about the rain but that is what camping is about.
You need to adapt.

You will never find me without Stroh or a 4x4 :D
