4x4AG Event Attendance Superlist

#1

Post by Mad Manny »

Introduction:
In this section (Event Attendance Lists) are all the 4x4AG events since mid 2017.
The reason we only have accurate records going back to mid-2017 is because this Forum was only started in March 2018.
Many of the Threads for events prior to then were on the4xForum & were deleted.
However we managed to save some of them prior to deletion.

Count:
All the events since mid-2017 are listed, you are invited to add up your personal tally & post it here.
I will then update post #2 with the leaderboard.

Currently there are 45 events in this section, but obviously, as more events are held, they will be added to the list.
I will then automatically update the leaderboard (of those on the leader board).

So please go add up your personal count on the events listed in this section (currently 45) & post the amount.

NB: Only events attended by Club members, non members attendance doesn't count.

Chas, put the whiskey down & listen;

The railway tracks event was at a venue called Beestekraal on 2 july 2017.
As stated, repeatedly, this Forum was started on 28 March 2018.
2 July 2017 was therefore BEFORE this Forum was started.
Dirk of the 4x4 Community deleted all the 4x4 Action Group Threads.
We therefore don't have records.
However, as we predicted the deletion, we managed to archive some 4x4AG Threads.
But I don't have the Beestekraal Thread & I don't think it was a 4x4AG event, it was just a GTG Thread.

This is why I keep stressing that only the 32 Threads currently listed count, if I find othersI will add them & automatically adjust your tally.
But, basically, any 4x4AG event before mid 2017 will not be on the list.

Regarding Groenkloof & De Wildt, once the Whiskey-fueled haze lifts, have another look. they ARE on the list of 32 qualifying 4x4AG events posted....

... in days of Iguana events etc there was a monster big 2*A3 tablulation
on which event attendance was recorded.( ie before the days digitized & computerized confusion )
Why don’t you look on there ?
... The little symbol > means ‘more than’ ie I suspect we went more than once
to Groenkloof and De Wild in last few years...
... and then what about Sable Ranch the other day and Kurt’s Magalies meander cross country event ?
( Kurt didn’t even have a license before 2017 ... )

Chas, just post the links to the events you are referring to & I'll look into including them if they were 4x4AG events after mid 2017...
BTW: I don't know about any monster spreadsheet...
