I watched it. Entertaining.
Clearly Refuses (Weiers) doesnt have a say in the editing. :D

After Swift dawdled up that hill & then Weiers followed but needed an extensive recovery - so severe that they had to hold Swifts Jeep with Japie's winch & then the winch cable snapped.
Then Weiers, like a complete novice leaves all his camp stuff out & returns to find the monkey's had raided him.
Weiers was left looking quiet inept.

Forgey, as always came across well.

Chris Cyberdog didn't get much airtime.

But a good laugh.

Incidentally we (Bugger, Renier_c. MartinDJ, SAXJ, Triton1 & I) went there 2 weeks later & two of the bigger obstacles were completely washed out.
Amazing to see how much nicer the condition of the track was just a few weeks earlier.

Nice series. Think the guys should swap the rocky trails for some Kalahari dune fun a some stage. :D

The two Zooks made short work of the hill they did the recovery on.

Watching episode 11 and wondering why a person will persist in trying the same manoeuvre with the same result till the vehicle is broken. There are always lots of comments about the 4x4 24/7 guys using their winches so often. In a situation like the Disco was in would it not have been a better idea to winch the vehicle out instead of breaking the cv and the exhaust?

Episode 11 was the best one yet.

The polish & professionalism is getting there.
Anthony comes across well & Japie, not struggling with the England Tale is far more proficient in his home language.

Weiers is the series fall guy (not sure if that's planned or he is just really a dumbass).
In an earlier episode he left stuff out & got raided by monkeys - twice!

In Episode 11 John Rock he arrives late (as usual), gets stuck, stuffs up his Disco then uses his Defender...
It's hilarious.

I liked Ant's grass soft shackle tip - I know it & we've done it - but it was lovely to see it as a well-filmed example.

It also added an interesting angle having that Afrikaans singer there - not sure I'd let a guy in a stock Double Cab do it though - especially when that stock D/Cab is a Ranger.

Also, Japie was more positive, the negativity (we hot, we tired, we hungry etc.) was toned down a lot in Episode 11.

Definitely the nicest episode so far.

I have enjoyed all the episodes too. I'm just amazed that someone would willfully bugger up a nice vehicle. Yes accidents do happen, especially when pushing the limits, but the broken Disco wasn't an accident.
