I found this guy's first video today. He does a trip in the same area as our Mountain Passes trip from 2018. Nice relaxed presenting style without excessive and loud background music.
Have a look at it here. https://youtube.com/channel/UCiigNhSTFGhj051kVBy6HEg

OK I watched it.
Basically, it's his take on a Bernie Williams of 4x4Mega World Eastern Cape Passes Trip.
As a FIRST attempt, for a guy presenting in his 2nd language - it was not bad at all.
I probably enjoyed it more because they did some passes we did on the 4x4 AG 10 passes tour.
I notice both Paul & Kurt missed a little hidden nugget on the video.
Clue - the guy who crossed the river to see the camp site in Rhodes they should have stayed at.
Do you know who that was?
BTW, his video is less than 2 weeks old, yet he has over 820 views already.
There are other local Youtubers who, even on their 5th or 6th video, are sitting on half as many views after twice as long.
So I'll look forward to his 2nd video.

Are you implying he was a normal paying attendee like most of the squad
or collecting payment etc. rather than wood ?

I am also wondering where he fits into the 4x4 Megabucks scheme of things? Would love to find out how he ended up on this trip.BushWacker wrote:Are you implying he was a normal paying attendee like most of the squad
