I have put together a video of the modifications I suggest for 2025. Especially if you will be using your 4x4 for trails and longer trips.

Have specifically tried not to mention the supplier, but rather the product and what it is used for.

https://youtu.be/2JKrC_G7sz0

What Modifications would you recommend?

Also working on a special video for this forum in which I say nothing and you mostly don't see me :-)

Bogaards, you are a nob! :D
1. You can't always do tyre's until you've done the lift.
2. Your 3rd mod is an exhaust, no where do you say that. Most people won't know what you were referring to.
3. Rocksliders, why did you refuse to say what they are called? You pat it and list it's advantages, but you don't name it.
4. UDF, good mod, but mainly for a diesel.
You should edit the video to put the item on the screen
1. Tyres
2. Suspension
3. Zorst
4. UDF.

Also I disagree with the bull bar before the Bashplates and after the suspension.
Underbody protection should have been the 2nd or 3rd item, it's the most critical.
If you do the underbody protection and Bullbar AFTER the suspension you may have to upgrade the suspension due to the added weight.

Top Tip: when modding start at the bottom and work your way up.

My order would be:
1. Underbody protection.
2. Suspension
3. Tyres
Then only
4. UDF
5. Zorst
Etc.

Dear Manny

Thank you for the feedback. Much appreciated. Maybe just some feedback on your questions where the video might not have been clear.

Tyres - I did not say to increase the tyre size, therefore no modifications will be required, I pointed out to change them to a more offroad based tyre.
Exhaust - good point, but most did understand it (as I got questions about which exhaust system it is)
Rocksliders - as with most products in the video I did not mention the manufacturer, it was about the type of product

I did not put it in a specific order, therefore I have not numbered it, I can look at a Q and A video to answer some of the questions.

I did not say you put the bull bar before the bash plate, I could have split it, see comment above.

I like your order, but I will still put the UDF first, most standard vehicles can go most places, but dirty diesel you can run into any place.

Thanks for the feedback on the videos! Appreciate. Some good points raised. Will incorporate some of them in a Q & A video for sure.

Some footage of an outing at the Lion and Safari Park. Specially for this community, I don't say a single word in it. :-)

Should have edited it out...

Seems as people prefer me talking, the 4x4 trail videos does not really perform well in terms of views...

I have tried something a bit different. I wanted to capture the complete drive of a piece of scenic road. In this case it was Meiringspoort.

We have visited Stormsriver mouth a number of times now. It is becoming a bit of a tradition. Not really an overlanding adventure, but for us it is one of the nicest campsites. I wanted to put something together just to show people around and what else there is in the area.

Following the video I made on which Modifications to do and considering feedback I have received here I made a follow-up video and included a bit of a Q&A as well.

Recently visited De Wildt for a bit of a Solo outing. Wanted to create a video that is a little bit different. No talking or voiceovers and no music. Let me know what you think.

I have put, or tried to put together a video on the different 4x4 drive modes. 4L, 4H, DL.

Most here will know it, but I was hoping that it can help the beginner or the guy that has never used it on their 4x4s.

Let me know what you think and if there are any other topics I should look into as well.
