I only have a cable running to the back (boot) where I have a BH where I can plug in a 2nd battery to run a fridge. So nothing really through the fire wall. I make use of G4Outdoors for all my electrical installations (Dont think it will help you in Aus though).

Thanks Henk...

I'm looking at a few options to get a 2nd battery in the back. Not the biggest fan of having one in the engine bay. I'm sure that it won't be too difficult to come through the firewall on the passenger side.

Apfelstrudel, Apfelstrudel FFS Henk, I nearly climbed into the TV to give you a PK every time you called it a tart or a pie.

@Redman.
If you can't get the additional wires through the grommet where the standard wiring passes through the firewall, just drill a new hole with a stepped drill and add a new grommet.

After this I don't know what it is, apparently (based on some posts on the Face thing) it is not Apfelstrudel. Apparently it looks different, Seems as if whatever you get in Namibia is Apple Pie/Tart/Cake. I will just call it an apple... :lol:

I was lucky enough to be able to install Maxxis on the Fortuner in June, just before our trip to Namibia. I have put a short review video together.

Note - Yes, I am a brand ambassador for Maxxis. (This can be a long discussion on its own)

I generally have a low regard for 'Brand Ambassadors' and an even lower regard for their 'feedback'.

Most are just 'Freebie Seekers'.
Some Roam Overland in search of the next handout (if you get my drift! :?)

However there are two exceptions, you and Ant, you both give back as much as you recieve and you both give honest feedback.

... well GBS said:

... so maybe the same goes for tyres ?

I generally buy BFG KO2s, or GY Wranglers,
but I may try a pair of Maxxis next time I buy;
but I generally wear a pretty standard pair of 235/85/16s
on any given axle.

Wow Manny

Thank you very much.

It is extremely difficult, but for me it is important to show what problem the product actually solves (instead of making it supplier A vs B), also using the opportunity with a product provided to show how it works or what it can do.

Most of the suppliers I work with is also products I have followed for a while and I was curious to see how they perform in my application or it is a new product in South Africa (this is coming soon).

Thank you for the support.

I have recently uploaded the following product videos:

De Graaf Exhaust Fitment
https://youtu.be/HBvBGBlo6P8

Formula Suspension
https://youtu.be/yfFL3ismRRE

Now, these are products that were provided to me, but I have reached out to these suppliers and there is a reason why I have fitted these products and I had some questions on them:
Exhaust - does it really make a difference? Will the sound be acceptable?
Formula Suspension - I have seen it on the 4WD247 vehicles. Therefore I wondered if this is a viable solution? I also put out a FB post on problems I had with the OME suspension. The guy from Formula was the only one who reached out and asked if he could solve the problem I had with OME. It was also interesting product for me to try (I could have just installed new coils with the OME, but would not have seen if there is maybe another product as well).

If you do have any questions on the above please feel free to ask.
