What recovery gear do you have, and why?

Before I get blasted for a stupid question - I would never have asked if I really knew the answer!
I could probably google it, but I would prefer insight from those who are actually actively involved.
Be it trails or overlanding.
Thus the question here. This appears to be the most active Club.
So what do you pack in and why?
Which brands work well for you and why?
I have yet to really put together my kit, and rather than rely on an over zealous salesman for advice, I would like to hear from you guys.
Do you make use of a "ready made" kit, or do you prefer to source items seperately?

Never take the salesman's advice. He drives a Hyundai Atos.
Rather talk to or look at sombody's kit, that does it regularly.
Destination also plays a role.

Handle on the roof of my Jimny and that is it. If I get stuck I just pick it up by the handle and put it down on harder ground [emoji106]

If you want a Pofadder buy direct from Herman - he is Afrikaans though so you have to nag & beg him to sell it to you.
They must have left Customer Service behind when they trekked north.
But it's a good product.
For the stuff from Tauro - deal direct with Andre Nel of Tauro.
