Building a Snatch Block Pulley

The voices in my head told me to build a sand anchor. That was a flop.
Now the voices are telling me to build a snatch block pulley.

I have a 8mm cable on my winch. What should the diameter of the pulley be?
The voices are silent on the diameter.

Please advice. Regarding the pulley, not the voices.

When I get pissed I build sand anchors and snatch blocks and buy Jeeps with car engines.
