I am having a look at the rope and chains and think to myself, "hmm. We have a lot of faith in them"

I read in the video comments that if it was 300:1 it wouldn’t even need a winch. Dunno how true that is.

In rope rescue, we take it that 1 man haul is 20kg, so 6 tons.
It would also take a long time. 300:1 means for every 300m of rope that you pull in you move the load 1m
