Bakkie cover

I thought I would share my recent build here. I needed a cover for my Isuzu's bak. Options were canopies, tonneu covers, rolling doors, etc. All more than R5000 ( prices that I could find...)
So I wanted a cover that would be reasonably water tight, strong enought to carry 200kg, easy to access yet secure enough to keep long fingers at bay.
So I built my own lid cover. It has 3x door/hatches. Made of mild steel and needs at least 2x people to lift it...
I have painted it black but my paint skills are lacking... will have to redo this when we are back from holiday. At least its not rusting and its holding up. I will have to improve the locking mechanism of the side hatches as well. The locks move around a bit when they are open - no problem when they are locked though
Wife is happy with how it looks and I am happy that it is still on the bak...
