So I decided about a month ago that I wanted something fun to tinker with, I spoke to Flip and he needed little effort to persuade me to buy a Suzuki, his only real recommendation was get a "coily"
So the hunt began, I found this one in Cape Town, had a mate check it out and trucked it up to JHB. Its a 1998 (the last year of manufacture was 1997) its spent 50-60% of its mileage behind a motorhome, and only has 83000kms on the clock.
Now the fun begins...

Today I stopped at Suzuki Bramley and ordered a whole bunch of service items, OEM parts are actually well priced, for example the oil filter is R84.
Only item I was shocked they didn't have stock was the air filter, it's a 2 day wait from the warehouse and the cam belt tensioner is a 10 day wait from Japan.

For now just give it some love. Going to give it a major service changing all filters, belts, fluids etc

Very nice Geoff. Wish you many a happy dusty km behind the wheel. Looked great last night.

With those side steps it will only do duty as a mall crawler.

Great find! It would not hurt to check the wheel bearings with the service.
Many happy travels.

Bugger, he won’t be there long. Refer to Manny’s question above
