The ide of the short ratio transmission is for drivability and stying in the power curve all the time
Especially 4th gear doing 100km/h at 4000rpm I should drive up hills without a million gear changes...

Quick update on the Autovilla
Golf motor and diff lock transmission fitted
Power steering,Aircon with Heating ability and larger fuel tank fitted
Bought a front nose section to repair the parts that was cut out for the previous Radiator that was fitted
The front have been re welded back back to std
Radiator and Ac condensor now fit as std inside the nose panel
Still sanding and prepping nose to re paint the whole front cab
But drove the Autovilla to the Exhaust shop to fit a complete stainless steel system with 2 large silencers to make it super quite exhaust tone
Ac tested and heater tested working great
