So just before the second event
We had the Flagbuggy on the Dyno
By now I installed the Chrome Molly
Mainshaft that exists of 1st and 2nd gear for much harder Launches
340Kw
468Nm
On the Wheels wich is fairly good figures
On the 200M 1/8th mile event I managed a 7.4 sec and 154Km/h
Beating some of the Strong competitors
On my 4th Run For Qualifying as I Launched my 1 Oil cooler pipe that was Crimped with proper collar not tightened with a normal hose clamp
Shot off
At that stage you concentrating on staging lights and green you go.
Right then the cooler pipe came off and no oil pressure and by time I hit 2nd gear I see a big ball of smoke in Rearview mirror and immediately blacked off
And noticed oil light is on
Changed to neutral and switched engine off
At that time I heard a sound of Pots and Pans coming from the Turbo side
I knew the Turbo was totally destroyed
Free wheeled down track but without knowing speeding oil all the way down track
So I got towed back to pits and loaded Flagbuggy on the trailer
Put a 19mm spanner on the crank nut as I wanted to see if engine is turning
But it was tight and not turning
Then The least I could do is take 50L of my Race fuel and go help scrub the track and clean
We stripped the engine and #2 Rotor seized on the crank
Luckily by quick thinking and engine cut the Rotor housings and Side plates are usable
Spoke to the Hydraulic company who did the work
All they offered was to re crimp
Not answers we are looking for
As a Business man myself I know we all make mistakes
Racing comes with its headaches
I'm looking at incident rather in the Positive
We will be doing some engine and Turbo upgrades and aiming for around 450kw or more on the wheels
I'll post some pics for you guys of my Flag inspired Race suite as I had to get a Double layer for the Use of Fuel mix
Ethanol mix of 50/50
