2nd Diesel Filter?

#1

Post by Bogaards »

I have recently installed a UDF filter in the Fortuner. I did this before our trip to Namibia and we removed it and opened it up when we got back. So I would say it was in less than 5000 km. Also installed one in another vehicle. I have also asked Voetspore about their experience with it. Here is my review of the product.

I fitted a UDF to Fearless 14 years ago.
Replace the cartridge every 20000km.

They recommend to to replace it with every service, but if you don't get dirty fuel often I am sure every 2nd service could be possible. I am actually doing this now in the vehicle I drive for work since it was relatively clean after the first filter was removed after 15,000km.

Henk, mine is AFTER the OEM filter and at 10000km is not ready for a change...
Plus it's expensive.

So I do it every 20000km...
