Refurbished Leather Seats

So in the quest to improve ride comfort and to give the Patrol a bit of TLC I have been investigating seating. Looked at car seat covers but nothing really would have improved comfort.

I came across a company that seemed to know what they are doing and decided to have my front seats refurbished with new foam where necessary and brand new leather. I did not have the rear seats done as they are not even in the car as it is set up purely as an overlander.

I was a bit nervous having this done but I can assure you the job done is absolutely fantastic. The price for two front seats and new covering of centre console was just under R8k. Extremely satisfied.

Some pics of the good work.

Money well spent.
I'll be contacting them to redo Fearless' drivers seat, methinks.

That looks excellent... I may look them up one day when I have the dosh... The truck is 23 years old this year. The leather is in great condition, considering its age, but the driver's seat is starting to look a little worse for wear. Not surprising in that it is the most used seat...

Thanks for posting this Andreas. My VW needs the driver seat right outer cushion sorted out and the cover repaired. My fat butt has squashed the foam and there is a hole in the material cover from getting in and out of the vehicle. I'll defiantly look them up when I want the repair done.

Thanks for that. We've had the vinyl on the Jeep seats replaced once, but they don't last and it was only half that price anyway. And they're down the road from us.

Quoting my own post for context for context.

Manny's most used seat is not the driver's seat. It's his back seat. Because of his mom... :)

I need to find someone like that in PE. My 11 seat Kia Grand Sedona's cloth seats were destroyed by the kids spilling and I can not find a place to do seat covers. But if it is R8000 for 2 I am in trouble,

On a side note. I presume my earlier comment was on-point. Manny called me a very nice name today. :)

… will discernedly implement few key improvements
to establish a well appointed ForeCabin.
(Will not go as far as donning
thin white pigskin driving gloves etc.)
