part is made out of solid glass filled nylon which is not a best material for a job.
ill call it sample prototype.
ill try and explain it.
air and water enter trough fins and hit a wall.
water is forced down while air goes up.

this should be permanent fixture as its not necessary to open or close anything as on other-ones on the market.

im just playing/working on it Paul and im sure no one can come up with anything new regarding vents.
idea was there after watching how the sailing boat vents work.
this is printed version of left hand one.
it feels strong.

inside are parts:
33mm high
45mm high and
33 to fit top of a canopy.

He wants to know if you can close it. Because, if you are driving behind another vehicle on a dusty road, that vent will let a lot of dust in....

good question and thanks for asking it Leon,as i never thought about that problem.
for my defense i did get idea from sailing boat and they don't deal with dust.
some cheap pvc fittings that will fit in to hole drilled on canopy wall and this comes to mind.
