pressurizing canopy diy

#1

Post by Jadranko »

part is made out of solid glass filled nylon which is not a best material for a job.
ill call it sample prototype.
ill try and explain it.

air and water enter trough fins and hit a wall.
water is forced down while air goes up.

this should be permanent fixture as its not necessary to open or close anything as on other-ones on the market.

Is this something that you have designed Joe?
It's an interesting idea. 🤔

Joe , kan die air in take toe maak as jy agter iemand op n grond pad ry wat baie stof maak
As nie gaan jy baie stof in kry deur die air in take mos.

Jadranko, my Slavic friend, I will translate what Leon asked

He wants to know if you can close it. Because, if you are driving behind another vehicle on a dusty road, that vent will let a lot of dust in....

thanks Manny.

good question and thanks for asking it Leon,as i never thought about that problem. :(
for my defense i did get idea from sailing boat and they don't deal with dust. :D

some cheap pvc fittings that will fit in to hole drilled on canopy wall and this comes to mind.

Joe, I think you should change your Forum name.
Something like Jadranko, or The Slav, or The Crazy Croat....
