2017 VX200 aftermarket bumper

#1

Post by icemanza »

Hey all. FIL looking to add aftermarket bumper to his 2017 Landcruiser 200VX. Already had extra dual battery fitted so worried about weight on front suspension. Questions:
1. What Toyota approved bumper options are there?
2. What should be done to suspension to compensate.

What I would do

1) Talk to some of the after market fitment centers, but don't spend the money yet. Some of those bumbers are super expensive, but also vary a lot in price. But you can get inf from them on prices and options. NB to find out weight of bumbers, then,
2) Talk to Mikem (advertised on this forum) about your suspension requirements, given your applications, and additional weight.
