So as I'm new to the forum and keen to share my toy with you Oaks.
JB74 :
Has a 40mm Lift kit from ToughDog
Wrangler 215/80R15 for shoes
and some other not so exciting non-standard bits

The plan 1:
Rockslides ( Des-Sol or Wildog ) kind of undecided , anyone got some feedback on these it would help me .
3/4 roof rack from Frontrunner
Radial cup protectors ( Des-Sol or Wildog ) Also undecided on these

So that's my starting point and as we all know it will never end there .

I'm open to any advice on what good bad or a solid start on this little beast of mine

Thanks Guys

Iron, stunning vehicle, as a day to day runner , 4*4 toy, you cannot beat it!
My toy is 8 months in the making, it's a 2013 Jimny, fitted with 3" EFS lift, 215/80/15 General Grabbers A/T, roof rack, snorkel , spacers for a wider track, new s/st 65mm exhaust, it's now overlanding ready, now fitted with 2 drawer system, 120 amp/ hour Lithium battery and a DC/DC charger, it's an awesome 4*4, willing but not lean on fuel.

Stunning vehicle Iron, I hope you enjoy every minute.

As Manny repeatedly says, modify from the ground up and don’t do anything that does not serve a specific purpose (such as stars on the doors or light bars)

Thank you Gents
My Good Friend Gooff told me, put the car in a bath and start filling it with water, start the mods with the first part the water touches and repeat as the water level goes up.

Your good friend Ge'off has repeated the Manny Doctrine slightly incorrectly.
A car doesn't fit in a bath.

Here is the full correct version of the Manny Modification Doctrine

Imagine the 4x4 in an empty Olympic pool.
Place a hose pipe in the pool to slowly fill it.
The order in which the water touches the vehicle is the order in which you should modify it.

There is a caveat though - you may need to do the suspension before the tyres in order to fit the tyres.

Rock sliders - The Wildog ones look great, but don't have a very good mounting system. The Des Sol ones are tough as nails.
Radial Cup protectors - You need to match the rock sliders with the radial cup protectors (RCP's), e.g. With Des Sol Rock Sliders, you can only use Des Sol RCP's. Again, the Des Sol product is tough as nails.
Roof racks - It's best to avoid weight on the roof of a Jimny. The manufacturer recommends max 30Kg, The Front Runner roof rack is 28kg, The Easi-Awn one is 32.5kg
