If anyone needs powder coating done, I've found a good place close to me. Price and quality are excellent.

I got the basket back from powder coating today. I'm very happy with the finish and look.
Peter, I had a look at the carrier's for up to three Jerry Cans and the bracing they have. What I came up with should be as strong as the other designs I have seen. The weight of the basket is taken by both the square tube at the top and the lower bracket that bolts directly to the arm.

There is an additional bolt that goes into the top part of the bracket.

In Fountain Road Woolf. There is a sand blasting place in Plantation Road but I haven't used them.

Thanks
Have used Tone Blast. Very good. Don't think they like small jobs though

It's all assembled and ready for collection by the customer. I'm very happy with the way it came out with the power coating.

Phil came to collect the basket today. We fitted the arm to the bumper and I was pleased to see that the outer edge of the cage doesn't cover the right tail light. He's very happy so hopefully I'll get some repeat business.

Thursday February 25th to Tuesday March 16th...
In that time Toyota produced 360 000 new vehicles worldwide.

It's waited over a week for collection as the customer was away in Kruger Park. No I didn't charge him extra for storage.
It's hand crafted so that takes a bit longer than the production line sausage machine from Toyota and such.
