You are welcome to come do an inspection of the workshop fridge. The beer's are all in the fridge in the laundry.

I have completed the fabrication side of the project and it's now in for powder coating. The only challenge I had with the lockable top strap was to find hinges that do the job and are strong enough not to fall to pieces on the first off-road trip. The one's I finally used are made for outdoor use on things like security gates. They are made from 3mm steel and have a brass hinge pin. I used one to make the lockable latch for the same reason.
Once it's back from powder coating I'll post a few more photos. These following photos are before it went for the powder coat.

Tried to keep material thickness down to keep the weight down. Then had to look at the best solutions for bracing and rigidity. Doing full length welds on the bracing angle sections I used was better than just just taking it in a few places.
