End 2018 the roof rack was replaced and the kitchen installed before a West Coast trip.
Had a shower under the right front hatch.
Removed that since the installation of the second freezer.

Nice Christo. Using and testing will refine your requirements.
I would flip that checker plate on the tail gate so that you have a smooth work surface. Easier to clean and will seal better.
Nice idea would be to fit a table bracket under the inside of the canopy. I would make it deep enough for two tables. One stainless steel and one plastic. I like to cook on the cast iron gas table cookers, hence the stainless steel table. They cook faster and are great in the wind with a wind reflector.
Are you going to run a water line to the back. It would be nice to have a tap with running water where you need it.
I love drawers. Think about another shallow set of drawers on top of you existing deep drawers. There is nothing better to keep everything in place and easily accessible.only disadvantage is weight. Alternatively i would fit a large that slides out the back. You can then pack everything on top of the tray. It will make packing easier and everything will be accessible.
Sorry to interfere in your build.

Thanks Andreas for the input.
The Kitchen has one of those cast iron cookers that flips out installed.
Will post some pics of the kitchen layout later.

Where have you, or will you, place all the electrics?
I would mount all the power items on the back wall above the Snomaster fridge.
That the Solar controller, DC-DC charger, battery state display etc.
So you can stop & easily see the state of charge, the charge rate etc.
You could then have assorted power points there & place the items (cell phones, lap tops, cameras etc) on a shelf above the Snomaster (while stopped).

Thanks Manny nice layout. That is more or less the idea I have in mind. I am still not sure if I am going to combine the batteries in parallel or have two seperate systems. Still need to do calculations on the capability of the OEM alternator.

Maybe use a portable HCDP DC-DC Battery box with the various mains/alternator/Solar input and various output ports with a standard Pb-Acid battery. Can move it to where its needed: into Cab, Trailer, Canopy (or house in power-cuts!)... or leave it in camp to charge off loose solar panels.
So may be worth having two aux battery systems ... 1 fixed, 1 portable.
Inverter and DB board etc best permanently mounted in canopy.

I have portable battery boxes at this stage. Also have 2x100W and 235W solar panels. Loose panels have the advantage if you camp in the shade or a few days on the same spot. This will defeat my idea behind this build.
The plan is to mount the batteries on a slide for easy maintenance. Panels will be fixed on rooftop.

Time to pump
Plan is to have 3 cold water and 3 hot water connections. Currently have a gravity feed tap at the back. One hot/cold connection at the back. One at the kitchen and on right front for the shower.

Shurflo are good pumps ... I recently re-did
my whole trailer water system and it had a cheapo pump that only does 2L:min ,
but after testing, thats enough .
Was going to upgrade then thought :
better the pump , higher the pressure,
faster the water tank empties !
Car and Trailer I carry about 175L but at
much more than 2L/min would not last long !

Cheapo pumps failed me on two occasions. I will have a gravity feed outlet incase of a pump failure.BushWacker wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 9:51 pmShurflo are good pumps ... I recently re-did
