Jokes aside, I know my fabrication skills leave much to be desired but I find great pleasure in trying (and learning in the process). Hats off to guys like Apoc that does this for a living.

I wish I had the skills and tools to build something like this:

VW country buggy - sold only in AUS.

Apparently it was used in the Aus military - which explains a lot :lol:

Ek het 20 jaar begin om so een te bou.
Volle 2 dae gewerk aan myne, en toe nog nie weer verder. Ek het ook nie te veel skills nie.

Nou staan hy op sy sy in my perde stalle...

Miskien moet ek hom klaar maak...

Gents, on these old cars, do I use dot3 or dot4 brake fluid. Want to bleed the brakes this weekend.

Secondly, looking at an aftermarket fuel pump, preferably a low pressure pump (if I am correct). Will 1,5 bar suffice?

Seems 2,8psi is about right. If my maths does not fail me, its about 2bar of pressure.

My verstaan is dat dit skade kan doen aan die enjin se valve seats onder andere.

Vw het mos aluminum tops, so het klaar verharde seats in, so het nie lood nodig. Is net probleem met castiron tops wat nie verharde valve seats in het
