Christo, it was never fitted to a 4x4, only to BMWs and Land Rover Range Rover products....

As far as I know, the M57 was available in the X3 and X5. Yes, I knew somebody would say the X-class is not a proper 4x4.........
OM606 was fitted to the Merc GW as far as I know. 300D

Both the M57 and OM606 are great engines.
But both are high for performance. Dunes, quarter miles and the like. They do not crawl.
Edit: I would not fit them for touring either.

Hilux was vir n diens gewees in die week. Toe praat ek met n verkoopsman van Toyota daar terwyl ek wag. Vra hom oor die cruiser v8 en hy se vir my die v8 cruiser bakkie gaan nog gemaak word net nie die stasiewa nie. En hulle het nog mense wat die v8 bakkie bestel.

Hulle gaan wel nog die Marine weergawe wat 270kW en 700Nm bly vervaardig. So die V8 enjin gaan nog `n tydjie beskikbaar wees
