I must come have a beer sometime soon so that I can explain my complete and utter aversion to anything diesel. I’m not joking when I say I’d rather walk which may happen when I run out of petrol one day.-

A TD42 conversion would never be financially viable. Conversions are seldom without issues & those TD42's love to overheat if you try get the power up.
Be far, far, cheaper and better to just fit the 2nd tank.
